We're on a mission to bring arts and culture to every young person in Manchester

Our Creative Influencers, MADE’s Youth Voice group, meet each month to share ideas, collaborate, and bring creative projects to life. Over the past few sessions, they have been working together on a special piece of artwork submitted to ‘The Future is Ours Festival’, a celebration of 10 years of young people’s creativity, voice, and action, organised by The Horsfall and 42nd Street.

Last week, hosted by 42nd Street, we welcomed teachers from across Manchester for a session focused on creative, practical ways to support wellbeing and build meaningful connections with other educators.

The end of April marked the final chapter of our This Is Us project – a creative collaboration with poet Reece Williams and Manchester Histories. For this second day, the group was based at Z-arts, with Year 9 students from Chorlton High School returning, ready to dive back deeper into a big, thought-provoking question: Is Manchester a welcoming city?
