We're on a mission to bring arts and culture to every young person in Manchester

Last week, hosted by 42nd Street, we welcomed teachers from across Manchester for a session focused on creative, practical ways to support wellbeing and build meaningful connections with other educators.

The end of April marked the final chapter of our This Is Us project – a creative collaboration with poet Reece Williams and Manchester Histories. For this second day, the group was based at Z-arts, with Year 9 students from Chorlton High School returning, ready to dive back deeper into a big, thought-provoking question: Is Manchester a welcoming city?

Building on the celebrations of last year, we realised that one month isn’t enough! This year, we are having a summer celebration of cultural education projects happening in the city!
