About MADE

MADE is built up of our cultural education specialist staff team, our Board of Trustees that sit within cultural organisations and educational institutions, and our partners across the city.

Our Vision

We want Manchester to become a beacon for creative education, where the arts add magic to life experiences and learning, for everyone. We want the city's young people to be engaged, confident and excited about creativity.

Our Partnership

MADE is a collaboration between culture and education organisations from across Manchester, including art galleries, museums, theatres, schools, colleges and many more. We run participation projects and create learning resources to join the dots between education and culture.

Charitable Objects

For the public benefit to promote the education of children and young people up to the age of 24 in Greater Manchester and its surrounding areas in the subjects of arts, culture and heritage in particular but not exclusively with a view to improving and enhancing:

  • skills, capacities and capabilities to enablethem to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals;
  • employability; and
  • good health and mental wellbeing
