Thanks to funding from GMCA, we secured some fantastic equipment to give the Creative Influencers the chance to make their own animations to help them develop their digital arts skills!
This week, they learned about voice acting and audio production, having access to the podcast studio at Z-arts to record sound for their animation project. They were introduced to recording processes through a session guided by Audio Producer Jamie Green.
In their april session they were shown how to use handheld recorders and travelled around the building of Z-arts and surrounding grounds to collect their own sounds.
The script is now recorded and edited and ready to be paired with their animation content.
The Creative Influencers are a group of young people who meet monthly in different arts & culture venues to develop their creative skills and contribute their perspectives to MADE’s activity. They meet with cultural leaders and staff to discuss how arts and cultural venues can be made more accessible for young people whilst developing future project ideas for the group.
