Tell your story with images

Inspired by Lily Parr, a pioneering female footballer from the early 1900s, artist Billy Colours and the National Football Museum demonstrate how you can make your own artwork that celebrates a time when you believed in yourself and overcame an obstacle.  

This is a great activity to pair with creative writing and speaking and listening exercises, prompting pupils to self reflect and carefully plan their creations.
